Description
Market Research Analyst will be responsible for researching and analyzing the company’s potential markets and competition. Will conduct primary and secondary market research studies, summarize the results and support marketing strategy and launch plans for a first-in-class oncology immunotherapeutic.
Responsibilities:
- Perform market research, including both primary and secondary research
- Interface with consulting firms on conducting market research, delivering quality insights within the scope, objectives, timeline, and budget for assigned projects
- Collect competitive intelligence
- Develop and maintain an understanding of specific therapeutic areas, including current and future market trends
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive analysis and develop market forecasts
- Organize information to assist in defining optimal positioning and market potential of future products and in supporting product launch
Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3+ years of hands-on market research experience, preferably in oncology
- Strong familiarity with in-line and pipeline oncology products
- Network of relationships at market research firms
Qualifications and Key skills:
- BSc in life sciences, MBA preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong marketing skills
- Scientific and clinical understanding of oncology
- Complete understanding and working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative market research
- Motivated self-starter
- Ability to evaluate and provide recommendations constructively with appropriate assertiveness
- Strong written and oral communication skills
