Prior to development for human therapy, our DNA delivery technologies were extensively tested in animals. Research scientists have published numerous papers detailing favorable results in many species and covering a broad range of disease indications. Animal health encompasses two distinct market segments: livestock, or animals bred and raised for food or other products, and companion animals, or pets. Through our collaborative partnerships with Merial and Aqua Health, there have been approvals within each of these market segments for vaccines utilizing our DNA delivery technology.
